Thanks everyone for linking, reading, and subscribing to our site. We really appreciate your comments and feedback.

This will be the last post in this feed.  You can update your RSS feed readers at www.higherinnovation.com and subscribe to our newly re-designed and re-platformed site.  There are lot’s of new capabilities to make the blog more useful everyday and better connected.  Moreover, we will continue to bring you rich new content features with more contributors in 2009.

Our first year has been a great learning experience.  We have learned some great things and some things not to repeat in 2009. From our experience, we are looking forward to 2009. In the new year, Microsoft is going to continue delivering innovation through its products + services releases.  Moreover, our economy is contracting and forcing leaders to innovate like never before.  That’s our sweet spot and a conversation we love to have with our education leaders.

On a final note, if you are looking for previous articles that we posted, you’ll find them at www.higherinnovation.com.  You can also subscribe to the new RSS feed here.  We will continue the conversation in 2009.

Happy New Year!

Welcome to the Higher Innovation Blog

January 16, 2008 21:53 by Cameron Evans

You are now joining a conversation that is simply the sum of two great institutions:
Higher Education + Microsoft® = Higher Innovation.

Our charter is to inform, entertain, and provoke conversations about innovation in higher learning—globally.  We will share our insights on new trends, competitive technologies, and changing pedagogy in higher education.

It is important to state from the beginning that the contributors to this Live Space are Microsoft employees. Additionally, this is not a Microsoft-sanctioned or Microsoft Marketing Group blog cleverly veiled.  These are real, committed people that are passionate about learning and the positive impact that technology has on this great endeavor.  So we don't take ourselves too seriously.

Over the course of the next year, Microsoft will release a new portfolio of services, products, and innovative technologies.  We will be there in the midst of these new offerings—deciphering their importance to learning and the value to education enterprise.

We invite you to take part in these "fierce" and innovative conversations about Microsoft and Higher Education.  Please post your comments, questions, and feedback on how we can take this conversation higher.

Happy New Year from the Higher !nnovation Team.
